Hokule‘a Voyaging Trail

This trail honors voyaging and the traditional non-instrument method of navigation called "wayfinding" that used information in the stars and other clues in nature to navigate vast expanses of open ocean. The trail is named after the traditional Hawaiian canoe, Hokule‘a and honors her mission to teach and practice traditional navigation skills and spread the message to malama honua (care for our island earth).
