This trail honors ‘Aumakua, ancestral guardian spirits that have taken an earthly form to provide protection to humans. Look for several iron sculptures of ‘Aumakua placed along the trail. Currently the highest elevation in the trail system, care should be taking when making your way up and down the hill to the level portion of the trail where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Waianae coast.
